黃駿彥 Jerry WONG
After graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Jerry is now a performing artist, music educator and arts administrator.
Beginning his learning of tremolo harmonica at the age of 7, Jerry has enduringly been bonded with harmonica. Later when he was 12, he learned chromatic harmonica under Mr. Chong Ting Ho. The following year Jerry joined King’s College Harmonica Band (KCHB) and polished his playing to a diverse brilliance through the exploration of bass harmonica, and won several awards in the Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival.
Jerry has joined Veloz Harmonica Quartet as Double Bass Harmonica player since 2013. In two years time, Mr. Wong has performed on stage actively over hundred times including the CCTV program “Amazing Chinese”. He is so familiar with different kinds of harmonica performance techniques and characteristics that he is responsible for songs arrangement for Veloz. The next year he played Chord Harmonica in the Grand Opening of the 10th Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival 2014 (Hangzhou). Invited by King’s Harmonica Quintet, he also performed Bass Harmonica in the Maestro Concert of the Festival, showing his recognised talent in the harmonica field. In 2018, Jerry has been appointed as one of the adjudicators in the 6th Seoul International Harmonica Festival.
Jerry is currently performs in various Asian and European countries, including Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, China, Bahrain and Taiwan. Jerry started to participate in pop and jazz music field last year, including the collaboration with pop-singers in the Hong Kong Coliseum, and joining the Jazz Ensemble “Ensemble Thirteen and “Jars” to crossover with Erhu, Suona and Harp etc.

七歲當年，黃氏於一次機緣巧合下開始接觸複音口琴，從此與口琴結下不解之緣。十二歲時，黃氏隨莊庭皓學習半音階口琴。翌年，黃氏加入英皇書院口琴隊，為其多變的口琴生涯奠基。2012年，黃氏成為英皇書院口琴隊隊長，並於亞太口琴節中屢獲獎項。
2013年，黃氏加入VELOZ口琴四重奏，為其倍低音口琴手。兩年間，黃氏演出次數逾百場，當中包括中央電視台節目<<出彩中國人>>。黃氏熟悉不同口琴的演奏方式和特性，負責為VELOZ編曲，並曾在第十屆亞太口琴節（杭州）的開幕禮表演中擔任和弦口琴手。另外，黃氏亦獲英皇口琴五重奏的邀請於當屆亞太口琴節大師演奏會中吹奏低音口琴，實力備受肯定。2018年，黃氏受邀赴韓國參與第六屆首爾國際口琴節，為其複音口琴獨奏及口琴樂團項目擔任評判。
黃氏現活躍於歐亞等地區演出，包括德國、瑞士、韓國、中國內地、巴林及台灣等。去年，黃氏亦開始參與流行音樂以及爵士樂演出，包括於香港體育館(紅館)以半音階口琴為不同流行歌手伴奏，以及加入爵士組合Ensemble Thirteen 及 Jars ，跨界與二胡、嗩吶、豎琴等樂器交流。
